“...it’s been amazing how food has become a more neutral and a less thought of part of my day-to-day experiences…”

You want to

lose the guilt after eating–– to finish a meal and not immediately think about how you need to “make up for it” with exercise or a strict eating regimen.

You just wish that

you could eat until you were satisfied, and easily push food away without finishing the plate, or feel excited about dinner plans with a friend, instead of having to plan your day around it.

You know

you could be more present in your life without obsessing over food - before, during, and after. You dread seeing pictures of yourself, and wish your mood didn’t revolve around your weight, appearance, what you ate, and whether you exercised.

You’ve thought about

getting help, but have been hoping your issues would improve on their own. Or you’ve worked with someone and they didn’t know how to specifically address your relationship with food.

This is the one

area of your life where you struggle, and you genuinely don’t know how to get better. But you’re willing to try and learn.

You have
a right to...

have sauce, toppings, or condiments on your food without counting it as extra.

It’s possible to not waste brain space counting, tracking, or regretting food. Instead, you could simply eat without thinking about food.

It's Okay to...

eat what you want. To eat a salad because you want it and not because you “have to.”

To have more than one piece of chocolate in a sitting.

To live with a happy medium of flow and balance with eating.

Say yes...

and no to food equally.

You never need to justify eating to yourself or to others.

Imagine having fun with food and really enjoying it.

Be present and experience pleasure in your life.

You can...

eat without a set plan. You can change your plans.

Being flexible and spontaneous feels exciting.

Feel in charge of your life.

It can seem...

impossible to feel light, confident, and at ease with eating and yourself.

You can return to how you ate before your eating problems began to get in the way of your life.

It was so simple: eating what you wanted, when you were hungry, stopping when you were full, and never giving it a second thought.

Circle

You’re frustrated. After helping others for 10 years, I know that if solving these issues were easy, you would have figured it out already.

In order to build a better relationship with food, you have to approach things differently. You have to unlearn all the plans, rules, routines, and guilt. You have to learn a new way.

Maybe You...

  • Want to eat more freely but you’re worried you will gain weight.
  • Have lost touch with a normal way of eating or amount of food.
  • Are afraid you’ve damaged your body and metabolism in the process.
  • Even though you want to, you’re terrified to listen to a craving because you fear you’ll never stop eating.

You cant just...

  • Have more willpower and try harder.
  • Stop restricting food intake and have the guarantee you won’t gain weight.
  • Change completely in a short amount of time.
  • Put off feeling confident and happy until you lose a couple more pounds.

You have to...

  • Tolerate guilt with eating sometimes.
  • Be uncomfortable in your body for awhile.
  • Trust that you can change.
  • Show up for this food healing process.

I know you can do this. Why? Because you’re intelligent, driven, and accomplished. These qualities translate to tenacity and strength while you’re finding balance with food. At times, you may feel like your own worst enemy. Over time, that changes into a fierce protection of the freedom you’re creating.

And let me tell you, it’s worth it. Having a healthy relationship with food is a foundation for so many other things in life––things like laughter, joy, confidence, love, and happiness.

erica-drewry-realign

After healing my own relationship with food, and helping others do the same, I have a tried and true way to overcome these fears. I’d love to teach you how to feel connected to your life physically and socially. And to actually feel pleasure around food in ways you never imagined you could.

It's all included in the

“Erica knows what she’s talking about. I am finally getting to the point of not bingeing on sweets because I’m slowly learning I can have them when I want them. When I eat ice cream, I actually love it because it’s guilt-free. It’s still a process, and body image is hard some days but I’ve made so many strides. No turning back now.”

01.

Personalize Your Experience

No one person’s relationship to food is exactly the same, and we strive to offer a personalized platform. Whether you learn best through video or audio, you’re covered. Learn with pre-recorded videos or your podcast app with our private link for training on the go. Access what you need in the moment.

Although most of us experience preoccupation and guilt with eating, our individual experiences differ. The membership allows you to pick and choose the content that is most relevant to your experience. Maybe you need help getting out of the overeating cycle, understanding how to move away from restrictive eating, or dealing with weight gain.

Our community is for anyone who struggles with food, to any degree, it’s all painful and valid. We all deserve the opportunity to feel our best.

02.

Work at your Own Pace

Some seasons of life may be challenging whereas others may be smooth sailing. It is best to have a support system in place for when you need it. This is why we offer a month-to-month programming.

Plan to be part of the membership for at least 4-6 months and stay for as long as you need. Our goal is for you to come away as the nutrition expert of your own life and body. What if you accomplish your goals and later on in your life, circumstances knock you down? You can simply rejoin, we’ll be here.

03.

Quick an to the Point

Our videos and podcast audios are between 2-10 minutes. Not only have you already spent too much time learning about the perfect eating style and researching food, we know you just need help pulling it all together.

It takes compassion, strength, and commitment to experience real change – we expect and offer all three in this program.

Accountability & Support

We have weekly Q+A calls so you never get stuck. These calls are live, because we know how important it is to connect face-to-face.

Miss a call? These calls are time-stamped with the questions being answered. When you go back and watch, you can simply listen to the parts of the calls that feel relevant. The recordings will always be uploaded into the core program platform for you.

Resource Library

You’ve probably discovered this isn’t just about “knowing what to do.” Let us break it down for you so you can take action. Need direction on exactly what’s keeping you stuck? We know how to get you in touch with what’s getting in your way. Download worksheets, journal prompts, logs, and meal ideas. Like you, we believe in evolving and improving always. We will grow and add to these resources as you need them.

We created action-focused recordings to walk you through challenges we know will come up, like: eating a food you used to avoid, dealing with a negative body image day, resisting an urge to overeat, what to do after overeating, how to handle feeling bloated, and more. You’re never alone. Listen to them over and over as you practice these concepts.

Bonus Trainings

The topics are centered on the areas you need help with now - holidays, social eating, difficult food situations, birthdays, vacations, and handling cyclical times of year that might make your food healing journey challenging.

Community

Tap into our private community of other people who get it. There’s always someone there to connect with, and these are the RIGHT people you need advice from, not someone who's just commenting on another Instagram post.

Even though we are unique, there is a lot of overlap in our experiences with food healing. When it seems like the whole world is dieting, trying to lose weight, or doesn’t understand what you’re going through - this journey can feel lonely.

Whether you’re lifting someone up, sharing a positive experience, or asking for support - everyone wins. Meet people who are actually on the same path. Not people who are just thinking about it, but others who are taking action with you, right now.

We want you to be engaged and have active conversations in the group. But if that’s not your style, that’s okay. For some of us, this is a vulnerable and extremely personal chapter of our lives. Gathering inspiration and tips from others, reduces the feeling that you’re the only one dealing with these issues, and enables you to know we’re here with you.

“...Erica has helped change the way I think about food and what and when I should be eating. This whole process has been freeing for me. Yes, there is still work to do, but I feel a lot more confident in my ability to eat and ACTUALLY fuel my body for all it’s doing!! AND eat things that I enjoy eating! Also, she is just fun to hang out with!”

My Story

About Erica

I’m a registered dietitian devoted to changing the way we think about food and ourselves. My past clients tell me they hear my voice and recall discussions between us as they navigate food situations months and years after our work ends. These messages move me to tears and fuel my passion for this work.

Re:align was created for you, because of you. My clients have inspired me to hone, shape, and develop a process to guide others in healing their food relationship. One of my gifts is distilling abstract, layered, and nuanced concepts into logical strategies so you can learn how to take action.

There is no perfect or “right way” to nourish our bodies, and I hope to help you discover your very own version of health. If you’re looking for a way to eat that is fluid, holistic, and has no definitive ending point - I believe you’ve met your community and guide.

No more piecing together random information and doing this alone.

You might be asking yourself one of these

FAQs

I’m already working with a dietitian or therapist - do I need this community? And what if I’m not?

Yes, it would be a great complement to the work you are doing with an individual provider. Especially if you are working with a therapist and need some help on the nutrition piece. Re-align is focused on growth and change. It might bring up difficult emotions and challenges, so your therapist will be able to support you in this!

If you’re working with a dietitian who understands your food relationship, they will appreciate that you can get support and help between sessions with them! You can share the worksheets, journals, and resources with them to enhance your progress.

Don’t worry if you’re not working with a dietitian or therapist. Our membership is curated by a dietitian and our goal is to facilitate an effective transformation. If you/we find that it’s not enough, we provide direction and resources to help you find a local provider. We help you understand what to expect and what questions to ask them so it’s easy to find a good fit.

When are the live Q+A calls with Erica? What if I can’t make them live?

The calls are Mondays at 7:30 pm EST. We conduct the calls via Zoom, so if you can’t catch video, you can still dial in live if you’re in the car. Questions are submitted prior to the calls, so you’ll always get a chance to ask your questions.

Call replays are recorded, time-stamped, and saved in your program portal in 24 hours. This means you have a timely archive of calls, where you can tune into the information from the call that feels relevant to where you are in your journey.

How much time does this require? When should I join?

We know that healing your food relationship takes time. You are building on knowledge, experiences, reflecting, and changing over time. That’s why we set up our program into a monthly membership. Some weeks you may have more time to check in and watch videos, download worksheets, or have questions. Other weeks, you don’t.

We’re designed to be here when you need us. The trainings and recordings are brief. We know it’s a lot to cover and you can only take in so much information at a time. You can be part of the membership for as long as you need.

It’s a good idea to join when you’re at least thinking about it. Ambivalence is a normal part of asking for help. When you’ve had enough moments of hoping you can change and haven’t yet, reach out and check out the community. If you decide that now isn’t the best time to dive in - you can cancel your membership at any time.

What if I have an eating disorder? What if I don’t?

Erica is a certified eating disorder registered dietitian (CEDRD) and all course content is designed with her expertise. For some of us, especially those in early recovery, it’s crucial to have an individualized meal plan and support. Re:align isn’t a replacement for a higher level of care, personalized outpatient treatment, or support from a therapist.

It’s important to our community that we are all on the same page. We must realize that sometimes the community can’t provide the level of support you need from a professional. If you’ve done some work in recovery and need help with ongoing support, we’ll be a great option for you.

Eating concerns have a large spectrum of severity from a clinical standpoint. However, they are all valid and painful. Most people are not diagnosed or identified by a professional. You are welcome in our space. If you find that being part of the community is helpful to a certain point but you start to get stuck, it might be a sign to add a professional. The good news is that you’ll have awareness, clarity, and direction to guide your work with a provider.

Healing your food relationship is a beautiful process that enhances personal development. It’s a positive and proactive way to approach eating and life.

What if I want to lose weight?

This program is weight neutral. What that means is I believe in supporting your behaviors, health, energy, and quality of life. Your weight will follow. In other words, I see weight as an outcome not a variable in a nutrition intervention.

It’s not a crime to want to lose weight. Many of you reading this probably want that. It’s what we’ve been conditioned to want and it’s okay to enter food healing with this desire. I will be guiding you on learning to eat in ways that feel good physically and mentally. I can’t/won't guarantee that you will lose weight. Sometimes clients lose weight, stay the same, or gain weight.

One of the biggest challenges of this process is healing deprivation with food. If you’re overly focused on weight loss, it will impede your ability to heal. We will be working with this belief as it comes up and don’t expect you to not want to lose weight. Chances are you’ve tried to lose weight without it working so many times that you’re willing to try to approach things differently.
